Salt Fork Lodge

Oh, hi!  Is anyone still reading?  I guess I got busy this summer.  Running, gardening, turning 40...  the usual.

So Nate's parents were up for a week and this time I joined them out at their cabin.  Although Nate and I stayed at the Salt Fork Lodge instead of camping.  The weather was absolutely perfect and we took lots of hikes.  The leaves are just starting to turn.  So beautiful!  Did you see any of my Instagram pictures?

If you're looking for an overnight getaway, the Salt Fork Lodge is a good pick.  Very pretty views out of the lake side rooms, a good little restaurant, pools, tennis, campfire, and lots of cozy nooks with fireplaces and rocking chairs.   After Labor Day is a good downtime to visit.

And I actually painted something off of our hiking pictures!  Fast and free - just the way I like it.

My "studio" is still down in the basement, but I think I need to move it upstairs.  I've decided part of my painting hiatus is due to the fact that I don't want to be in the basement.
